along with 1000's of gnome users.

developers have clue - or at least i expect them to. they can use
imlib_config - hit a few buttons and be done and their prefs will be
retained forever. imlib's config fiels hasnt changed for AAAAAAGES!

it is better than having gnome override the prefs and not provide
anymechanism to config it. It's disabled. if someoen wants they coudl
happily provide several imlbi cofnig fiels that can be swapped around
configured for several machiens "high mem, low cpu" "low mem, high cpu"
"high mem, high cpu" etc... and just swap the settigns in and out.
