need help building gnome-libs-1.0.10

hi,

i have searched the archives and the web pages and have found nothing
that may help me with this problem.

for background info, i'm running a freebsd 3.2-RELEASE system, and have
the following libraries installed thus far (also, the port in the freebsd 
ports tree is broken, that is why i want to do it by hand):

freetype-1.1
audiofile-0.1.6
esound-0.2.8
gsl-0.3b
guile-1.3
glib-1.2.3
gtk+-1.2.3
imlib-1.9.2
gtk-engines-0.5
fnlib-0.4
ORBit-0.4.3


and this is what happens when i try building gnome-libs-1.0.9:
