Trouble in River City!

Hello,
I have Redhat release 5.2 installed on my system and thought this system
was soppose to
use libc5. I downloaded all the file files from gnome site for release
5.2. Then I went to Sunsite
to get the rest of the stuff, xscreensaver, guile and umb-scheme. When I
tried to install
rpm -Uvvh xscreensaver-3.09-3.rpm I'm told that it needs libc.so.6. Will
I have a problem
with other parts of my system if I install these libraries? What package
do I have to
dowload to get these libraries?
