Not so great for final use in GNOME. Absolutely perfect for final use in
Window Maker (since Window Maker supports alpha-channel icons) but ImLib
doesn't support more than 1-bit alpha.. :(

Anyway, before I discovered GNOME, I used to enjoy drawing icons for
Window Maker in the GIMP, and did 'em all in .png, and loved every minute
of it. Well, I'd draw with layers, backup a .xcf, then combind and render
to .png, but I still like .png best. (Why don't I do icons for GNOME?
Because I don't have time right now, and I don't have a snow-flake's
chance in Hades of matching TigerT.. :)

Seen tigert.gimp.org? IIRC, he's got some of the original material
available for download. The show-off. :)
