E keybindings

greetz,

how does one turn off keybindings in E?

i have tried deleting them all from the capplet,
but theyre still there everytime i re-run it.
also have tried editing out what appears to be
the relevant parts in the e-theme files 
to no avail.

the problem is that key events do not seem to be
making it to Blender, which makes using the prog.
very difficult.
