orbitgkt.c kills compile for gnome-libs

I just recently downloaded the 0.99.8 series of sources for gnome, wanting to
try it out.  I have compiled ORBit just fine, as well as enlightenment and all
that entails but can't get gnome-libs to compile.  It dies in libgnorba on the
orbitgtk.c file.  

The machine that I am trying to compile it on has SuSE 5.3, a pretty stock
install.  If you need anymore information please ask.
