It might be so. I've just tried building glib with egcs-1.1.2pre2 (only
glib, though). At least it passes testgmodule. Couldn't it be the linker
rather than compiler problem? At least under FreeBSD ELF one needs
additional linker flag '-rdynamic (or --export-dynamic, or -Wl,-E)' for
dynamic loading (in this case gmodule interface) to work.
