NAS and rplay - NAS had other issue s(api was hard to port stuff too)
and didnt work half the time - limit of 32 channels etc.. rplay had
absoluely horrid quality.
esd started as a way of providing a tiny soudn server that supports
both samples and streaming and is small and easy to maintain and expand.
