Nope.
If I look at ~/.gnome/session *while* X is running with gmc, the lines are
there. But it looks like they're being removed as part of the logout
procedure.
If I terminate the X session with Ctrl-Alt-Backspace, the lines stick, and
gmc comes up when I restart.
