Hi!
I'm planning to use gnome-print for printing support in my application
(gquest - GNOME Questionnaire).
What's the status of gnome-print? Is it usable?
I played around with the testprograms, but they don't run.
$ ./testprint
** WARNING **: gnome_font_new_closest: font family Courier not found
Segmentation fault
$
It does not matter what font I choose, always the same error. Then I
looked a little deeper into it and saw that I do not have any fonts!
In gnome_font_new_closest()
int n_fonts = klass->n_fonts;
The value of n_fonts is 0 (zero), for me that means no fonts.
What kind of fonts is it using?
Configure checks for TeX:
checking for TeX... /usr/lib/texmf/local:/usr/lib/texmf
Well, I've got TeX installed but I'm no expert, I never used it.
Maybe there is some kind of setup missing?
I'm running a current DEBIAN potato i386 and a current gnome from cvs.
Thanks, Martin.
