Please help with LIB Prob, GNOME 1.0

I've seen this problem on the list, but no
solutions so here goes...

  I've installed everything in GNOME 1.0 from RPM.
Everything works great, then I try to start *ANY* 
GNOME app and get a shared library error, can't find
libglib-1.1.so.13.  I've rebuilt the ld.so.cache, and
re-installed the RPM's with forces and nodeps and
replace pkgs, etc.... nothing works.
  Any help???
