Anything. "xterm" for example. Remember to remove any "exec" before
the gnome-session call. And of course, inadvertedly ending this xterm
will close your X.
You could also try:
until gnome-session; do
echo restarting gnome-session
done
This should restart the thing until it exits cleanly with code zero.
