Gleef,
I did all of those steps myself and get the dreaded gray screen with an
xterm (?) window only...
I normally have this:
panel &
/usr/bin/enlightenment
in my .xinitrc file and that works just fine. But, I have no
"session-management". That is, nothing is saved when I exit.
