The first one should probably be:
exec gnome-session
the second one should probably be:
panel &
exec /usr/bin/enlightenment

You might need to reset your session management settings (I'm saying this
alot, this is going in the FAQ). To do this, exit out of X
completely, make sure you have "default.session" and "default.wm" in your
$prefix/share/gnome directory, then delete the file "~/.gnome/session".
When you start up X and gnome-session again, it will restart with the
default session, which will include the default window manager, panel, gmc
and the help browser.
