I have noticed when i was running 1.0.1 and under i had alot of the same
problems with gnome and when i was using the rpm's i would suggest compiling
gnome it has seemed to work about 100,000x better and e-0.15.4 works much
better 0.15.3 had some bugs that effected the panel you should also make
sure your running the latest components 1.0.5 of gnome-libs and 1.0.3 of
gnome-core with gtk-1.2.1 that gets rid of the gtk+-1.2.1 nags.
