Gnome-terminal bugs

I've seen two bugs (I assume) in the gnome-terminal program.
The first is that, when in "transparent" mode with a tiled background,
only the top left tile is shown in the terminal.
The second is this: When I start gnome-terminal set to hide the menu bar,
it first draws the window allowing space for the menu bar, then appears to
remember what it's supposed to be doing and redraws correctly. On a fast
system, I'd guess this would go almost unnoticed, but It looks wrong.
