Gnumeric/Guile/Python

It was mentioned couple of times that one can use Python or Guile
expressions in Gnumeric. Indeed, ldd shows that my copy of Gnumeric is
linked with guile. I hope it is linked for a reason. Can someone show
me a simple example? 


Is it possible to store python or guile program in *.gnumeric file
rather then in a separate file? Imagine the possibility --- delivering
python code in a form of spreadsheet file with no need for
installation of any kind.
