I got around this by using 'sudo' to run a script on my
laptop. Not the cleanest or easiest solution, but it gets around a
few configuration difficulties. I have a list of sudo-users called
"PPPUSERS" that contains the names of any users who might be using
PPP. Just remember to make your scripts read-only!
