WHAT'S GOING ON?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Frankly, the problem at the moment is me. I've got more than enough
other stuff to do. There have been so many contributions that I first
need to clean up the mess in one way or another. A couple new icons
for GMC might get added soon.

For the future, people, please concentrate on Phase 1, that is, making
new icons. No need to already start pouring workforce in brushing up
others' icons.


WHAT HAS BEEN DONE:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gshutdown has got an icon now; so has the Monitors applet directory.
The author of gProc has given the program an icon, too. I've had a lot
of contributions for new candidates.

The gnome-squeak icon for the Favourites menu has been replaced with
a disarmingly cute new icon.

Electric Eyes: could use transparency (we're working on it)
HAL 2001: both the icon and the actual panel pixmap are not shaped and
          thus there's an ugly black square around them
X-Chat: is a logo
Imlib Properties: Yet Another Blank Page Icon
Screem: is a logo
Utilities menus: Swiss Army knife could do with more contrast

If you've got any nice, big logos for Gnome applications, please
submit them; they'll be needed for Phase 2.

Please, please, please: If you want to make icons, make icons that are
mentioned in the report or in GITHNYBM as needed. Don't send me
another dozen of ZIP drive icons or of Adobe PDF icons. Thanks.
