By far and wide I think you are going to find that the following are the
most common tools.
glade (for creating gui screens)
emacs, vi, nedit, etc.. etc.. (ie your favorite editor)
the compiler of your choice. gcc-2.95...
and for debugging, the ever popular gdb, along with efence.
