HELP:help-browser.idl error in gnome-core-1.0.53

Hello all,
	This is my first post to the list and forgive me if my question
is redundant.  (I did attempt to look through the October archive).

I'm trying to compile GNOME on an HP-UX 10.20 and ran into the following
error:

Making all in gnome-info2html
/users/inri/software/gnome.new/gnome-core-1.0.53/help-browser/gnome-info2html

I've looked at the file, and tried to make it executable, but that didn't
work.  Am i missing a dependant package?
