I installed ORBit 0.5.1 using the "rpm -tb" method, and it
installed a library file named "/usr/lib/libname-server.a". I can't
really add much more information, but your suspicion that ORBit
provides this file appears to be correct. BTW, I did this on a RH6.1
system.
