Error installing gnome-print-0.18

Any clues as to my problem here? After compiling my patched source
failed, I grabbed the tall furball (excuse me, full tarball) but got the
same error:

Since I haven't seen anyone else post a problem, it could be just a
problem on my system, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

gnome-libs-1.0.58
gnome-core-1.1.8.1
