For a while I've wished for an xmessage-like program that uses GTK+ (and,
perhaps, GNOME). As such a program still does not seem to exist, I thought
I'd send it to this mailing list. Maybe someone bored will pick it up and
slap together such a program. :)

I'm not on this mailing list, so if anyone wants to talk to me, you'll
