	Myself, I just sorta muddled through it.  Put the DNS number, phone
number and password into linuxconf in the PPP/SLIP section, removed all the
script text (the waitfors and sends), and toggled on PAP support.  Then I
tried "ifup ppp0" and it worked.  Logged right off again with "ifdown
ppp0".  Through Gnome, I use the "usernet" program to dial up my ISP.
Can't tell what speed I'm connected at though.
