Greetings,
I am trying to compile Gnome on Solaris 2.6 (sparc). I have successfully
compiled all of the base libraries which I retrieved from the Gnome FTP site.
Now I am trying to compile the 'core'. The g'zipped tarballs I have gotten from
the Gnome FTP site for the latest stable core sources give me checksum errors
when I try to untar them. I am confident the files are corrupt on the FTP
server because they g'unzip without problem.
Can anyone point me to an alternate source for these files that are not
corrupted? Or better yet, does anyone know of a binary package already
prepared for Solaris 2.6 sparc?
TIA,
Bill
files needed:
control-center-1.2.1.tar.gz
gnome-core-1.2.1.tar.gz
gnome-applets-1.2.1.tar.gz
mc-4.5.51.tar.gz
