Helix gnome; /dev/dsp no permissions from group users

Hello,
if i start helix-gnome as a user i can`t access /dev/dsp. this is a link
to /dev/dsp0.
This device is owned by root and group audio.
I changed it to root/users but no difference.
Does anybody know how i have to change the permissions to access
/dev/dsp0?
Funny also that i uncheck audio support, but something inside helixgnome
will access /dev/dsp permanently...
