gmc window dimensions

Hey,
  The default size of the gmc window (the window I get when I double click
on Home Directory on my desktop) is too small.  When I resize it to a more
appropriate size, the resizing does not take effect during subsequent exec-
utions.  How can I make gmc save its window dimensions?
