Specifying geometry on the command line.

Hi Everyone,


I am wondering how to specify the geometry of gnome applications from the 
command line.

The particular one I'm interested in is gdmlogin (because I use X with 
xinerama) but it's something that has come up before.

I have tried "--geometry" but to no avail.
