Linuxconf or gtk error?

  Hello,

After recompiling my kernel I try to run the the latest version of
Linuxconf and recieve this error

Error message from remadmin :Xlib:connection to ":0.0" refused by server

Error message from remadmin: Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect
to Server
Error message from remadmin:
Error message from remadmin: Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0


I'm running the Helix on a RH 6.0 system and kernel 2.2.15
