Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask. Please direct me to the
right place, in that case.
While compiling gtk+, I get the following error:
.libs/libgtk.so: undefined reference to `__dcgettext'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [testgtk] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/X11/gtk+-1.2.6/gtk'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/X11/gtk+-1.2.6'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
I thought that perhaps the problem was in the gettext package (just
guessing), so I tried to update it. Sadly, I can't compile it either,
due to the *same* error.
What's missing on my poor li'l system?
