I think that the first error message is very user friendly.  It says this
isn't gonna work, try again.  The second is less friendly, because it
doesn't give you a list of possible things that could cause it.  Now if they
had an installer that wasn't Linux specific, I wouldn't be able to complain
at all.  :)
