Desktop Icons

Hi

I compiled Octover Gnome from tarballs, and I have a RedHat 6 with
WindowMaker. Gnome works fine, but when i try to change the icon for a
folder or a link, it doesn't change. 

someone experienced this problem?

where is the file where the icon's propierties are saved?
