This is becoming a FAQ. The bizarre thing is that the answer to this
one is in the footer of every message sent out by mailman.

Mailman is happily archiving the lists. See the url in the footer
below for where. (Wow, I really hope it doesn't fall off this!) 

And I'm posting this to the list because it might save someone else
asking :)

We could actually do with someone putting a mention on the old 
archives that "Archives from April 2000 onwards are found at.."
and perhaps one on the mailman-generated page saying "See this
link for pre-April 2000". (Hence an optimistic Cc header :))
