Right-clicking within the desktop and selecting create new window
creates a new window managed by the current gmc process, whereas
selecting "Main Menu -> File Manager" executes a new gmc process. The
overhead of starting a new gmc process is more than creating a new
window within an existing gmc process.
Anyone noticed that a gmc process never exits when you choose "exit"
from the menu? It just sticks around taking up memory and a process
table entry forever. Bug?
