Subject: Problem running GNOME under Mandrake 7.1
Hi!
I have installed Mandrake 7.1 and is grate!
But, (the always word), when i login and not select GNOME SESSION in the
session menu and try the enlightenment without starting the GNOME SESSION
all the aplications that run under GNOME, like gedit, start REALLY slowly
when i called them from the enlightenment pop menu.
Any one can help me here?

That's very strange. What happens if you run gnome programs from a terminal
under enlightenment? Run top from the command line and see what's eating up
cpu when you start these gnome programs.
There should be no reason for enlightenment to slow down gnome apps. What
Window Manager are you using from within Gnome? Sawfish?
