put the glib-2.0.m4  gtk-2.0.m4 files in /usr/share/aclocal directory.
(I made links from /usr/share/aclocal/glib-2.0.m4 to
/opt/gnome2/share/aclocal/glib-2.0.m4 and the same for the gtk2 m4 file)
