RE: Gnome-libs install problem !

Try db 2.7.7 with 1.85 compatability. Compile, install and copy into /usr. What
distribution are you using?  This worked for me with Slackware 8.0. For help
installing gnome from source see http://www.karubik.de/gig/ .
