mine shuts down fine..........nvidia Riva tnt...as long as your kernel is
setup for it and you have
in XF86Config-4 under monitor section the following:
option "DPMS"
& you must put ( there are other ways i think don't recall command at
moment ) xhost + localhost in startup script somewhere do not recall at
moment i think? /etc/profile......
anyway i can't get mine to work IF i have screensaver set to be
used.........if not it works fine! :)?
