I have a Visor Platinum that syncs everytime, using a serial cradle and
rh6.1.  It wasn't like that 'til I figured out the problem, at least for
me, kill 'gpilotd'.  With 'gpilotd' killed 'jpilot' has run pretty much
flawlessly.
