gdk-pixbuf-0.7.0
control-center
The critical bit there is "control-center". It has to be compiled
before gnome-core.
Is the README not getting packaged in the tarballs? (Not intended
as a sarcastic comment: I don't have a tarball of it handy and it's
always possible it's not included, I suppose. I've known worse :))
