Evolution and Pine

I'm a pretty dedicated pine user but I'm starting to get curious about
Evolution.  In the last preview release I downloaded, it wasn't
immediately evident how to get it to work best with pine.  For
instance, Evolution seems to want mail folders in separate
directories.  Pine wants them all collected in ~/Mail or ~/mail.  Is
there a way to get Evolution to accept all of the mail folders in one
directory?  Is there a way to import pine addresses?  Does anyone know
if this stuff is planned?
