Re: GNOME won't read my $PATH and $LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Henry, thank's for the help. That did the trick. Odly
enough, the file references the ${PATH} and
${LD_LIBRARY_PATH} variables, but for some strange
reason, they are not expanded. Once I'd manualy added,
the PATH's I need, things are working smoothly.

To answer your questions, I to am using dtlogin. My
performance is reasonable. I can't realy complain. I
do get an occasioanl crash, and every now and again,
my weather applet goes wild and losses it's settings.
I have had 2 or 3 sawfish crashes since my install
about a month ago. Like I said, I can tolorate it for
now. Hopefuly, it won't be carshing to offten, other
wise I'd have to go back to CDE.

I must adit, that this distro seems to be a bit more
stable over the one distributed by SUN. Noit sure what
the diff's are.

Regards,
Gary
