problem with item_rotate in gnome_canvas.

 hi !
 
 i am facing some problem with gnome_canvas_item_rotate() .
 when i compile the program, it says , " undefined reference to
 function
 gnome_canvas_item_rotate()"...
 
 the same thing happens with gnome_canvas_item_scale(),
 
 BUT "gnome_canvas_item_affine_relative/absolute()" run fine .. no
 problem with these...
 
 the operating system on my PC is DEBIAN.
