Hi,

We need to be prototyping a better file dialog, and planning to land
it in libegg (prototype lib) first then in GTK. My guess is that for
GNOME 2.2 in 6 months or so we will try to have most of GNOME using
the new dialog (but still have it in libegg), then for GNOME 2.4 we'll
have it in GTK 2.4.

So various apps experimenting with new dialogs is an important step
toward getting one in libegg and then GTK.
