gnome-core compile woes (G_FILE_TEST_EXISTS)

Hi people...

I'm trying to get gnome-core compiled. Until now, the rest of the modules
seem to have be correctly installed. I get:

I really found two quite different values - one is 1 << 4, another is very
different. I believe this is a conflict of gnome1 and gnome2 versions -
but no idea to solve it.

I'd really appreciate suggestions
