Installation on RH 8.0

I installed Red Hat linux 8.0 on my system with KDE
3 and am trying to get gnome 2.2.0 onto it as well.
 I found the installation order on the gnome.org web
site, but I know many of these packages I already
have installed and up to date.  Is there somewhere I
can find out which need to be installed or which
packages come with Redhat 8.0 (fully updated via
web).  I know this may not be as good a place to as
as a RedHat mailing list, but I'm checking there to
and getting kinda desperate :(
