Nah, I know... they're just not so nice if background processes are
popping them up in your face every 5 minutes, when you're trying to use
some other app that probably doesn't even have anything to with the
internet :)

(Actually the Windows popup times out if you don't hit "Dial" after 30
seconds or something I think, which is slightly more acceptable I
guess).
