GDM - sessions

Hi

After I add a user I want to force the session to be the default .xsession
entry.

If the user has already logged in then .gnome2 exists, and one can insert
a gdm file setting the session to default.

What is the proper way to force a new users session to the .xsession
specified wm and apps?
(keyboard-less touch auto-login thin clients for POS if you need to know)
