For some reason when I try to make a keyboard shortcut using the mod (windows) key, it doesn't work. When I click on the desired action, as soon as I hold down the key it just goes back to "disabled." It doesn't give me the chance to hold it down and press another key.

I'm using the logitech wireless desktop (the one w/ the optical mouse)... This works fine on my laptop, so I know that key is usable...

Post the output of "xmodmap," that might give people ideas what's
wrong.
haven't heard of that... here you go..

xmodmap: up to 2 keys per modifier, (keycodes in parentheses):

shift Shift_L (0x32), Shift_R (0x3e)
lock Caps_Lock (0x42)
control Control_L (0x25), Control_R (0x6d)
mod1 Alt_L (0x40), Alt_R (0x71)
mod2 Num_Lock (0x4d)
mod3
mod4
mod5

Hmm... on my laptop (the one that works) it shows "mod4 Super_L (0x73), Super_R (0x74)"... Am I using the wrong kb driver or something?
